Just Throw It In The Bag

These pictures make me want to save every paycheck I receive just to buy one fabulous bag by Rebecca Minkoff. But lets be serious, It would take way to long for me to raise the funds so I think I will stick to browsing in Marshall's trying to find the perfect designer bag for the low. These pictures are phenomenal to say the least, I mean the lighting alone is amazing. My favorite bag out of the bunch would probably have to be the leather clutch with fringe and second in line would have to be the carmel bucket bag in the first photo! What bag is your favorite?!

PS. Today was the first day of fall! What did you guys wear?!

Currently Loving...

I love the combination of army green and leopard spots, especially when the outfit includes gold accents. The Rebecca Minkoff bag is one of my dream accessories for fall, and I have been eyeing those Giuseppe Zanotti wedges for the longest. Will you be trying this combo?

Blah Blah Blahhh!

Long time no post. It seems like I haven't talked to you guys in forever! Last week was very stressful for me. I had to speak in front of my entire senior class which I thought was going to be a total train wreck but it actually went pretty well. I also had no time to do a mini photo shoot this week which explains why I decided to post this recycled outfit form a couple of weeks ago. Of course homework was stacked pretty heavy this week, but I don't think that's the only reason why I haven't posted in awhile. I think I've been feeling a lot of pressure lately with this whole blog thing. People have been asking me if I'm famous and saying that I should be (which really flatters me since I'm no where near famous) and certain people have even been coming into my life that I don't think would be there if my blog didn't exist. It seriously scares me. I didn't make this blog in hopes of becoming some big famous celebrity. This is just a way I express myself and thats it. Anyways I want to thank you guys supporting my blog. You guys don't understand how much each and every comment means to me.

Sorry for the boring/semi-dramatic post

Just Beachy!

October 2006 Vogue Us Gisele Bundchen and Eric Bana Photographed by Mario Testino
via fgr
These photos are perfect for me! This year homecoming is going to be at the beach with the dress code being casual, but I want to go all out. Girls at my school have been searching frantically for sundresses, and are wondering why that cant find any. Obviously it's Fall, so why would summer dresses still be on the racks? I would love to show up in something Like Gisele is wearing. I think a girly dress paired with a pair of tough combat boots would be perfect, especially with a huge statement necklace! Now I'm all excited, which is weird because I normally dodge going to school sponsored events. Hopefully I can get someone to take some pictures of me while I'm there (even though I hate when other people use my Nikon) so you guys can see what I decide to wear!

THE OPINION: VMA Dresses

Emma Stone: Is this her first time at the VMA's? I'm not sure, but I think she did good with a leather mini. Though this outfit is pretty safe, I like how she added a spark with her glimmer-y shoes!
Katy Perry : I'm not really fond of this dress. It looks like something you would see a professional ice skater  wear. I must say that I like the My Little Pony locks though!
Ashley Greene: I'm not wowed but I'm not bored to death either. Not impressed.

Ciara: WOW! Even though this isn't really the kind of show to wear a couture gown to it doesn't really matter! Who would dare to say she doesn't look good in Givenchy?!

Audrina Patridge: A little too iced out! I love a good sparkle but this was overkill with blinged out stacked belts and shoes.
Lo Bosworth: You cant see it in this photo but her eyes were blood shot! Maybe she was crying about how this dress does nothing for her.
Stephanie Pratt: This was a surprising choice. Its definitely a cugly situation!CUTE+UGLY= CUGLY

Lady Gaga: Just think, if it wasn't for Lady Gaga we would probably never get to see this beautiful Alexander McQueen gown on someone other than on a model. I love you girl!

Ke$ha: She made this dress out of garbage bags all by herself. But sadly this was not the time for a DIY project!
Selena Gomez: She looks GORGEOUS! I absolutely love this dress, especially paired with a side ponytail!

Well that's my wrap up of VMA fashion. I know I've missed a lot of people but I have school tomorrow and I need to get ready to go to bed. I would love to hear all of your thoughts and opinions!

ORANGE JUICE

Forever 21 Leather jacket, Luck Brand Sweater, Urban Outfitters NYC Paris London t-shirt, H&M skirt, old Chuck Taylors
ph: my cool daddy

I bet you can tell I'm excited for fall! I mean, how could you not seeing that I wore a fur vest in my last outfit post in 88 degree weather and now I chose to wear a leather jacket and hoodie when it's no wear near cold! My dad originally wanted me to take theses photos at our local skate park with all the "Biebers"(a term my dad uses for skater kids with the whole bang flip thing going on plus Bieber's even  the cover boy for October Teen Vogue) but I was way to shy to ask them to take pictures with me. I settled for the side of this Mexican restaurant with vitamin C brick walls. The jacket I'm wearing was  my favorite last fall and I've had those converse since the 7th grade! I don't think I will ever let them go. It's like they have the perfect amount of dirt on them.(yes I'm weird and I like dirt on my tennis shoes) Schools been going good but I'm quickly starting to learn that my time management skills aren't as good as they used to be, but hey I'm working on it! And work has been going good too since I've been meeting a lot of new people and learning to step out of my comfort zone.

PS. Yes, I know its fashion week! I'm planning on doing a post on my top 10 favorite collections so visit style.com everyday as new pictures come in so we can see if our notes match up!

Really?!

October Tatler Olivia Palermo
via mtv style
Olivia Palermo (the token "mean girl" on The City) Graces British magazine Tatler. She was even named girl of the year! I'm sorry but this picture is so AWKWARD, it doesn't even look like her! People are going to try to defend it, saying that she was going for the deer in the headlights look, but it's definitely NOT working! I mean, I'm pretty sure that they took lots of other pictures that would have looked way better for the cover. While I don't like Olivia's personality, I cant deny that she dresses very well and never ceases to amaze me with the fashion choices she makes! What do you guys think of the cover?!

Autumn Luxe

via The Skinny
When I saw these looks in my bloglovin' feed I couldn't believe that this lookbook was produced by Forever 21. The clothes look so luxe and rich. If someone told me to look at this lookbook and choose if it was from F21 or H&M, I would definitely chooses H&M. Mainly because the clothes look so well made and tailored, (I'm not saying that F21 is anything less... well kinda) I seriously need that jacket in the forth look and the sweatpants in the ninth! The jacket below is from Jeremy Laing's Fall 2010 collection. Its kind of amazing, with the fur sleeves and over sized hood. I've been eyeing it for awhile (why am I acting like I can actually afford it?) and I can't decide if I like it! Its one of those cugly situations (cute+ugly=cugly) Thoughts????
