Purp Alert | December 2016

Welcome to the Purp Alert. A monthly edit of fascinating finds I discover on the internet. I'll be highlighting anything from emerging artists, entrepreneurial advice, to things that make me laugh. If it inspired me, or helped me get through the month, you'll see it here.  Let's get started!

Charlotte Rutherford

One of my biggest goals in life is to create my own world through my art and Charlotte Rutherford has done just that. Through photography she creates vibrant imagery, that is both wacky and thought provoking. You've probably seen her recent work with Paper Magazine & Amber Rose

Alpha Channeling

Alpha Channeling is definitely a MUST follow Artist on Instagram. She creates colorful and very erotic colored pencil drawing that will make you have a double take while you scroll down your feed. There's lots of cool work in her print shop too!

Roksanda Ilincic AW15

Brightly colored fur exploded on the AW15 catwalk, and I have to say Roksanda did it the best. The brilliant use of color and texture, was a huge inspiration to my recent rebrand. And even outside the rainbow layered furs, the collection is  truly amazing.

Tame Impala - The Less I Know The Better

Known for their psychedelic sound, this month Tame Impala released a trippy new video for their song, The Less I know the Better. It's like a modern day version of Baby Hit me One More Time, but with symbolism and out of the box graphics & set design. Watch it HERE
