PURP ALERT | June 2016
Welcome to the Purp Alert. A monthly edit of fascinating finds I discover on the internet. I'll be highlighting anything from emerging artists, entrepreneurial advice, to things that simply make me laugh. If it inspired me, or helped me get through the month, you'll see it here. Let's get started!
Pimp My Mag
I've been obsessing with Paola aka Pimp My Mag ever since I stumbled across her work on Instagram. She creates beautiful one of a kind illustrations over fashion magazines & editorials. Each piece of art is extremely playful yet still very sophisticated and refined. You can check out more of her work here.
Kourt K's Fit
I've been trying to take new head shots for my website for a minute now, and the only thing thats been holding me back has been finding the right outfit. Kourtney Kardashian's outfit is my dream! If only I had $845 to throw down the drain.
Traditional shower caps are unanimously known for being straight up ugly, but SHHHOWERCAP managed to break the mold and create chic turban inspired caps with fashion forward textile designs. I need one ASAP!
I've always been fascinated with the 3D rendering world, and Alexis does it so damn well! With loads of minimal architecture and hints of tropical accents, she takes you into her world and makes you crave for more. I'm excited to see how her work progresses.
Founded by Natasha James, Rawcells is an organic vegan snack tricycle. She bikes around LA delivering delicious treats made with all natural ingredients that are targeted to help restore your Cells DNA. Natasha's innovative way of looking at baked goods is truly inspiring. Hopefully I can track her down when I'm in LA this September.
I'm painting again!
